The Conference

European industry plays a pivotal role in the twin digital and green transition. It acts as a catalyst for these changes while also being directly impacted by them. Simultaneously, the European industry must strive to uphold its technological leadership and competitiveness in a context of increasing global competition. Indeed, recent geopolitical and sanitary crisis highlighted the supply chain vulnerability of several key enabling technologies and critical raw materials.

Europe’s technological capabilities are its best asset to meet the objectives of the Green Deal, reach carbon neutrality in 2050 and ensure the leadership of its industry, notably in the innovative materials sector. But the significance of the challenges matches the ambition. New technologies must be developed to enable the European transition to a carbon neutral economy, but developing low and zero carbon solutions that go beyond the traditional approach will demand close collaboration between the academic and industry worlds.

Indtech2024 will be a forum bringing together stakeholders from public and private research organizations, industry, SMEs, and policymaking to discuss the state-of-the-art, technological challenges, as well as future trends in the field of industrial technologies. An overarching question we would like to address during Indtech2024 is how the R&D dimension could be better integrated to ambitious European initiatives to make sure the future of our industry
is made in Europe.

Meet partners

A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners in face-2-face talks. 20 minutes run fast but usually it is enough to build first connections, then the bell rings and the next talk starts.

Participants will have the opportunity to schedule meetings with other participants during the event. A dedicated matchmaking room will provide the necessary privacy to hold beneficial meetings.

Full day session the 4th June in the Bourse area from 10:00 to 18:00.

Dinner & evening at Le Pavillon

Despite looking a little like a space station, Le Pavillon does not come from Mars but from Milan World Expo 2015 where it received a special distinction for its architecture, sustainability, and energy performance. It was designed by the architect Patrick Genard from Namur.

Now perched on top of the Citadelle in Namur, Le Pavillon is an exhibition, experimentation and innovation centre that blurs the boundaries between disciplines and simultaneously encompasses the arts, science and technology. Drawing on its uniqueness, Le Pavillon invites visitors to savour a new experience.
