Antonio Ferrandez Garcia is an Architect and Mechanical Engineer, holding a PhD in developing innovative green materials for construction. With eight years of experience in the private sector, he now serves as a Policy Officer in the Industrial Transformation Unit at the DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission. Antonio is responsible for the Open Innovation Test Beds policy and the Hubs for Circularity policy. He is also part of the team managing the Processes4Planet Co-Programme Partnership for Energy Intensive Industries and acts as the contact point for Cluster 4 – Industry with the Health and Digital Executive Agency.
