SET-IndEU project and SET Plan IWG-Industry

The SET-IndEU project establishes a structured Secretariat to support and reinforce the activities and results of the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) Implementation Working Group 6 on Sustainable and Efficient Energy Use in Industry (IWG-Industry).
SET-IndEU aims to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainable energy sourcing within the European Union’s process industry. The project supports the IWG-Industry to advance the monitoring and review of the implementation of the Plan’s Action 6 and achieve the technology targets collectively in all SET Plan countries, making the EU industry less energy, resource and emission-intensive and more competitive.

ETIPs FORUM

The ETIPs FORUM is a bottom-up initiative born in June 2021 with the backing of DG ENER and DG RTD to establish and maintain a consistent, ongoing, and structured dialogue among the 10 European Technology and Innovation Platforms (ETIPs) and associated entities part of the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan). This initiative seeks to prevent topic redundancy and duplicate efforts while facilitating the exchange of expertise among the numerous experts involved in all ETIPs. The ultimate objective is collectively working towards the shared decarbonisation goals for 2030 and 2050.
