Garcia-Bardon Marie
Marie Garcia Bardon is R&D Manager and Principal Member of Technical Staff at IMEC. After a Master degree in electro-mechanical engineering at UCLouvain, she obtained the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in collaboration with imec in 2010.
She has specialized in emerging integrated circuits technology and devices modelling, analysis and benchmarking. In that context, she has extended the Power-Performance-Area-Cost established analysis to include sustainability metrics, an initiative that lead to the Sustainable Semiconductors Technologies and Systems research program at imec joined by multiple semiconductors companies.
She now heads the Design-Technology Exploration teams in the Semiconductor Technology and Systems department, leading the activities on pathfinding design-technology co-optimization for logic and memory applications, including sustainability assessment of semiconductors fabrication.
