Dr. Roland Brandenburg obtained his PhD in physics from Vienna University of Technology and has several years of experience in research organisations and industry. At FFG, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, he works as Head of Transnational Initiatives, being a specialist in international cooperation and designing and implementing transnational cooperation of public funding programmes. He has many years of experience coordinating large EU-funded networks, in particular M-ERA.NET and ERA-LEARN, which supports the European Partnerships community with general information and services on research and innovation partnership initiatives.
