Franz Pirker, MSc is responsible for the Business Development at AC2T research GmbH and at i-TRIBOMAT GmbH. His passion is to create value out of research. He is in charge for the exploitation of results as well as to build up new business areas or spin-off´s.

He studied Electrical engineering at the TU Vienna (DI) and Communication and Management at the Donau University Krems (MSc). The scientific track record includes 50+ publication in the field of simulation and modelling. He is and was active in different European platforms like EMMC, ECTRI and EARPA.

Within the OITB i-TRIBOMAT he was responsible to set up a sustainable Business Model and to create a legal entity (Joint Venture) and the brand for the i-TRIBOMAT GmbH which serves as The European Tribology Centre and offers services via a digital platform (www.i-tribomat.eu).
