Blouet Patrick
Patrick Blouet spent more than 42 years in the electronic/microelectronic industry. He started his career in a large telecommunication, then spent 10 years in an SME where he developed multiprocessors, hard real-time and image processing systems. Then he moved to STMicroelectronics where he spent 30 years in R&D, marketing and public affairs.
For STMicroelectronics, he was in charge of the building of large European projects as well as the first IPCEI on microelectronics.
Patrick is also very concern, for more than 35 years, about the environmental issues. As such he was also chairman of the Green ECS working group hosted by EPSOSS in charge of defining what to do to make European electronic greener. This led to the creation of the EECONE project with objective to reduce European electronic waste.
Patrick is now retired but still involved in European cluster on the topic of electronic sustainability and member of “the shifters” supporting “the shift project”, a French think tank dedicated to climate change and energy.
