Dr. Antti Vasara is the President & CEO of VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd) since 2015. VTT is a leading RTO with close to 2400 people and turnover exceeding 280 Mo euros. Antti is the president of EARTO (European Association of Research and Technology Organisations), a non-executive director of Elisa Oyj (largest communications operator in Finland) and supervisory board member of Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company.

He has contributed to various innovation and industrial policy groups in Finland and EU. Antti has a long industry experience having worked at Nokia, McKinsey & Company, SmartTrust and Tieto in various CxO and executive roles. He holds a Doctor of  Science (Technology) degree in Engineering Physics from Aalto University in Finland.
