Jean-François Delaigle, a native of Belgium, is an accomplished leader whose career is marked by a passion for innovation and technology. With a robust educational background including a PhD in Applied Sciences from the Université catholique de Louvain and an MBA from the same institution, Jean-François has seamlessly blended academic rigor with business acumen. His professional journey began in academia, focusing on image processing and digital watermarking technologies, where he developed algorithms that are pivotal in intellectual property protection within digital media.
Transitioning from academia to industry, Jean-François founded ACIC, a company specializing in artificial intelligence for video analytics. As CEO, he led the company to substantial growth intenationally, ACIC was successful acquired in 2023. His strategic vision was not only evident in his entrepreneurial success but also in his role at ENGIE FABRICOM, where as a Senior Business Development Manager, he spearheaded sales strategies and major projects in the security sector for French speaking clients, ranging from large corporations to municipal governments.
Currently, Jean-François serves as the Head of Business Development and Regional Director for Wallonia at SIRRIS, where he is responsible for regional strategy and key account management. His role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, enhancing the organization’s influence and operations across Belgium. His leadership extends beyond corporate responsibilities as he actively participates in several prestigious committees and boards that shape the scientific and technological landscape of the region.
